Eagles have strong thick toed feet for subduing their prey. The talons also puncture the skin and pierce vital organs within the body of the prey.

Fish eagles have large strong feet with thick toes. They have little spinucles on the base of their feet which enables them to grasp slippery fish with ease.

Hawks, Falcons and Kites all have similar feet in that they have long toes. As they are usually bird catchers long toes enable them to sometimes merely seize a bird by a feather.
