Living in this beautiful part of the world it is natural that man and wildlife have conflicts, with so many people seeking to make a life away from the cities of SA. Here in Dullstroom fly-fishing is a way of life and a means to earn a living for many country folk. Fish eagles, cormorants, herons and otters are the fish farmers worse enemy and for them to suffer losses to these wonderful creatures is quite often too much to bear.

We now offer a service here where these rogue animals can be captured alive with as little stress as possible and then we are happy to organise relocation and release for them.

  The serious of photos below are of such a case of a young otter that was finding too many easy lunches at a local fish farm. He was captured in good health and then released in a secret location in Mpumalanga.
